What's required from you?

Besides from a growth mindset, honesty, and a willingness to show up for yourself - you’ll need to set aside a few hours (a day, or maybe even a weekend) to work through the beginning chapters. From there on, the monthly planning pages will require some time to plan your intended actions into the month ahead, but daily, you’re looking at as little as just 5 minutes.

The process then, is to set clear and realistic goals, so you can work on creating the life you want to live. Working through the support rituals chapter will have you planning for self-care activities so you can show up as the best version of you, while moving towards your goals. Use the monthly pages to plan actions towards your goals, self-care, and joyful activities, and use the habit tracker to hold yourself accountable. Daily, work on positive mindset practices as you embark on this incredible journey of becoming more of YOU.

FAQ

When is the best time to begin this journal? 

That really depends on YOU. If you’re feeling called to create change in your life, if you want to shift from surviving to thriving, or if you just want to live with a deep sense of well-being despite of what goes on around you – then this journal will provide a beautiful framework to guide you on your journey. 

This journal is perpetual so you can begin anytime that feels right for you. 

What daily time commitment is needed? 

The beginning chapters are workbooks that will take you some time to work through – perhaps half a day, or an hour each evening for a week. It’s ideal if you can set aside time in solitude so you can really listen to what your heart is trying to tell you. Allow space for deep introspection, reflection, and big dreaming!

From then on, monthly planning may take 30 minutes for each of the six months. 

Daily, all you’re looking at is just five minutes. 

The monthly & daily journaling section helps you show up for yourself and progress towards the intentions you have set in the beginning chapters. This is what makes this journal truly one-of-a-kind. 

I am interested in gratitude practice – should I get this journal or another? 

The YOU journal includes a small daily space for gratitude (because we truly believe around here that this is such a vital well-being practice!). However, the YOU journal also includes daily prompts for focus, goal tracking, self-care, and affirmations. 

If you are looking for a journal that provides a more comprehensive framework for cultivating gratitude, then the Joy Journal for mothers, family gratitude journal, or our new everyday gratitude journal (coming soon!) would be excellent places to look. 

What age range is this journal most appropriate for? 

We have customers loving this journal from age 18 right though to their 70’s. Age is not a criterion here. What matters, is a person’s desire to create change, grow, and flourish; someone who seeks greater well-being and wants to thrive in life. A willingness to get really honest and a commitment to show up for yourself, will also go a long way! 

Would this journal work for my husband? 

Yes, of course! Plenty of men use our YOU journal, and we have some husband-and-wife duos both journaling together, each with their own copy of YOU. 

What is the difference between The Joy Journal, Everyday Gratitude Journal, and the YOU journal? 

The Joy Journal is a 52-week (365 day) daily gratitude journal, with weekly reflection pages and bespoke prompts aimed for busy mothers. 

The Everyday Gratitude Journal is a 100-day gratitude journal (not specifically for mothers) with unique daily prompts, optional exercises, and quotes to add depth to your gratitude practice. 

The YOU journal includes a small daily space for gratitude, however the emphasis of YOU is about creating change, growing, and flourishing. The YOU journal beginning chapters require you to dig deep and really evaluate how you are living your life, and what you most what for your future. It involves identifying your values, dreams, life success statement, includes a goal-setting chapter, well-being practices chapter, and then follows up these intention setting pages with six-months of monthly planning and daily journaling.

Gift Exchange

We know many of your purchases are gifts for your loved ones. Rest assured, in the case that your recipient already has the Olive + Page product or fell in love with a different colour, we are more than happy to offer a gift exchange.

Exchanges must be unused and returned in the original packaging (or similar packaging ensuring items are carefully protected) within 10 days of receiving the item.
