Giving back ~ where every little bit helps

Here at Olive + Page we believe in the importance of businesses—no matter how big or small—giving back to communities and environments in which they operate.

One Percent Collective

Right from the beginning of Olive + Page, we chose to partner with the One Percent Collective and give back 1% of our income to charity. We have now been donating to the One Percent Collective for over three years. Find out more below.

Overview

The One Percent Collective is made up of 15 different charities that give back to New Zealanders, as well as the international population.

We chose to partner with the One Percent Collective because they make it easy to give to some phenomenal charities that help families and children in need—which we are hugely passionate about.

Carefully selected charities

Every charity has been carefully selected by the One Percent Collective’s Board of Trustees, and each of the 15 charities’ governance, financials, and overall effectiveness have been scrutinised prior to being chosen.

Donors can choose to give to just one or all 15 charities, and their donation is split accordingly. The One Percent Collective does not take a cut. 100% of donations go directly to the chosen charities.

The 1% difference

The idea behind the One Percent Collective was that if everyone who could gave just 1% to those who needed it more, then what a huge difference that could make to the world.

One percent doesn’t sound like a lot, but it can make a phenomenal difference to those who need it.

Our commitment

Olive + Page donates a set amount monthly, and after year-end financials are completed, we top this up to make sure we have donated 1% of our income.

A glimpse into our chosen five charities and what they do is below.
